Brazilian Butt Lift
A ‘Brazilian Butt Lift’ is a butt augmentation using the fat of the patient from elsewhere on the body, allowing for more natural-looking results. As we age, gravity and the effects of ageing take their toll on the buttocks, often leading to sagging and what makes for a rather deflated bum. On the other hand, you might simply be unsatisfied with the natural shape and contour of your bum, with some patients feeling that they lack beautiful ladylike curves and suffer with a rather flat figure. Sometimes exercise is enough to achieve the shape and tone that some patients desire, but other patients can struggle. A Brazilian butt lift offers the expert enhancement needed to achieve a more contoured, firm, lifted buttocks.
While the surgical technique used for this type of procedure varies widely, we implement a technique at The Pabari Clinic that offers the highest quality, long-term results for each individual patient. In general, this type of procedure involves fat extraction via liposuction from a source elsewhere on the body, before purifying and reintroducing only the best the fat samples via injections into the buttocks. Hundreds of highly precise injections filler the upper buttocks with your body fat in order to achieve a more lifted prominent appearance that is both youthful and attractive. How long does the procedure last?
Depending on the extent of your Brazilian Butt Lift, this type of procedure usually lasts between 2 and 4 hours.
How long until I see results?
There will be an instant difference in the appearance of your buttocks, although it will most likely appear more exaggerated than expected as this point as you will be experiencing swelling, among other side effects.
How long do the results last?
The results are permanent, however the quality is a culmination of the surgery itself and the recovery and aftercare process. Providing you follow the aftercare guidelines closely and carefully, as well as doing your best to live a healthy lifestyle, there is no reason why you shouldn’t experience the best possible long-term results.
What are the associated side effects?
In general, there will no doubt be some slight bruising and swelling, as well as soreness and pain right after your surgery, which can be managed with prescribed pain relief. These side effects will be discussed in detail during your initial consultation with Mr Amit Pabari.
Are there any risks involved?
Infection, allergic reaction, scarring and excessive bleeding are all associated with surgical procedures, although unlikely. In very rare instances, there is a chance of long-term numbness, tissue necrosis, fluid accumulation and the reabsorption of the transferred fat, which could have a consequent effect on the quality of your results. Rest assured that your health and safety and in capable hands here at The Pabari Clinic, led by leading cosmetic surgeon, Mr Amit Pabari. With years of combined training and experience, our team use only the most advanced surgical techniques to provide unrivalled results throughout a safe and intricate procedure. All of the possible risks will be discussed with you during your consultation here at the clinic, where you will be able to discuss any concerns you might have in full confidence.
What does the downtime involve?
It is less likely that you will be required to stay overnight for observation with this type of treatment as it is slightly less invasive than other cosmetic procedures, however it is advisable to have someone drive you home and keep an eye on you initially. Your may feel groggy at first while your anaesthesia wears off, and your wounds will be freshly dressed as you ready to head home and rest. A drain might also be fitted if needed to remove excess fluid. While you recover, you will need to take some time off work for a couple of weeks, during which time you should wear a compression garment to support the healing of the incisions where liposuction was completed. You will be provided with more in depth information on how to care for your dressings, how to properly sit and lie down to allow for proper healing, as well as a breakdown of when you can expect to resume other day-to-day activities, such as exercise and driving. Any dressings, drains and stitches are usually removed within two weeks.
Who is suitable for a Brazilian Butt Lift?
If you are looking for a more flattering, curvaceous figure to your buttocks, a Brazilian Butt Lift might be a suitable solution. Whether you’re unhappy with the natural appearance of your bum, or various factors have contributed to a sagging, deflated bum, this procedure can restore a perky, youthful bottom. If you have exhausted diet and exercise to try and achieve your desired results without much success, adding volume in this way could be the next step for you to consider, providing you are of a stable weight and possess the required fat deposits elsewhere to transfer to your buttocks.
How much does a Brazilian Butt Lift cost?
The results that you desire and the size of your buttocks have implications on the overall cost of this procedure. The cost cannot be confirmed until after your consultation.
